The Meditrack MT6 is a compact 4G personal emergency device designed to help people remain independent while keeping assistance close at hand.

It can be worn as a watch or as a pendant, making it suitable for people who prefer either style of wearable protection.

With a dedicated SOS button, automatic falls detection, GPS location and two-way voice communication, the MT6 can quickly connect the wearer with help when it is needed.

Help at the press of a button

In an emergency, the wearer can activate the MT6 using the dedicated SOS button. The device can establish two-way voice communication and provide location information, allowing the monitoring service or nominated contacts to respond appropriately.

Automatic falls detection

The MT6 includes automatic falls detection for an additional layer of protection. If the device detects a possible fall, it can raise an alert even when the wearer is unable to press the SOS button. Falls detection is an important safety aid, but no automatic falls detection system can detect every type of fall.

GPS location

Built-in location technology helps identify the location of the wearer when assistance is required. Because the MT6 uses the mobile network, it can provide protection both around the home and while the wearer is out and about, subject to network and location availability.

Two-way communication

A built-in speaker and microphone allow the wearer to speak through the MT6 without needing to find or operate a separate mobile phone.

Wear it your way

Watch

Wear the MT6 on the wrist for a familiar, discreet option that stays with you throughout the day.

Pendant

The MT6 can also be worn around the neck as a pendant for clients who find this more comfortable or practical.

How does it work?

24/7 monitored protection

The MT6 can be supplied with Meditrack’s 24/7 monitored service. When an emergency alert is received, the monitoring centre can communicate with the wearer, review the information available for the client and contact nominated responders or emergency services as appropriate.

This option is particularly useful for people who live alone or where family and friends may not always be available to answer an emergency call.

Family / nominated contact option

Where appropriate, the MT6 can also be configured to contact nominated family members or other responders. Meditrack can discuss the most suitable arrangement based on the client’s needs and support network.

Set up for the individual

Meditrack does more than supply the device. We can configure the MT6 for the individual client, record the required emergency contact information, test the device and provide training so the wearer and their family understand how it works.

Funding

The MT6 may be suitable for purchase through approved aged care or disability funding where the device meets the client’s assessed needs. Meditrack can provide a written quotation for the client, support coordinator, care provider or other funding organisation.
